Almost done.....

I
The Rakshasa (Marauder mini), War Dog (Maddog), Ceaser (Cataphract) and Falconer (Shogun?) race after my Jag warriors, ready to smash DCMS/WiE. (Nice shooting, Kharagin).
MAYHEM in Suburbia! WiE refused to give an inch! Brilliant playing, Aaron and Paul!
I thought this made for a cool pic...war at Follow-cam angles.... |
The bold Rakshasa takes the bridge! |
...followed by his deadly lance....(God was throwing rulers about in the background) |
the winner of the coveted "Blunder move.":
poor Aaron...though he was fairly new (5 battles) to the game, we showed no mercy when he walked his Vulture into water while missing all leg armor on one of his legs (He knew of breach stuff from last battle, but who can blame him for forgetting since he's played little?) Alsa, fortunes of war and all that...down he fell...... |
Things get ugly as hostile mechs go at it toe-to-toe, with the eles chimming in for fun.... |
Boner Rule:
I'm not one to bitch about dumb rules...well ok, I am...The WiE Kingfisher gets backshot and loses a gyro, but as he goes down, he fires off a Large Pulse and hits the Ryoken in the right arm, detonating the LRM ammo...case saves the mech but my auto-eject triggers, blasting the ex-Jade Falcon bondsman skyward in an otherwise pristine omni-mech...grrr...next time, the warriors go without auto-eject.... (this turned a normal victory into a marginal victory (at best). other action in the round results in the Cauldron Born Prime kicking the leg of my Blackhawk...I could hear the els jumping (literally) for joy (and the back of my mech). |
And there the little bastards are....
The 2nd Commonwealth rushs in to save my bacon ("What? A party? and WE wern't invited?") |
Putting his back (now void of armor on RT/CT rear), the 18 heat madcat thinks he's safe...turns out, he's right...despite taking damage from back stepping into the heavy building, the Dragonfly gets a shot at his back...both Med Pulses and MG are leg and arm hits ...CRAP! |
The final kill:
A new player, Chris, traded several shots with the custom assault tank, finally coring the hell out of it with a double Ultra-20 burst, followed up by large and medium pulses, and a streak 6 rack...Great Job, Chris.....(He rolls hot...I want him on my side for next week's recon vs recon battle....) |

Irrate WiE player after the battle result
Ok maybe not, as he's a devout Warhammer FB player...the end result of the fight was a marginal Jaguar/Commonwealth victory (and I hesitate to really use that word)as the time ran out...Three of the WiE omnis, three Power Armor troopers and a tank withdrew in good order, leaving a Kingfisher and Vulture (at the bottom of the lake) as salvage. Nothing remained of the tank the Night Gyr 'A' blasted... The Jaguar loses were on ejected pilot mech (salvaged), a one-legged blackhawk (also salvage)and the remains of two Donar (one at the bottom of the swamp, left to rot, one that dropped and crashed from a level 8 fall....also toast...) Next week, recon elements meet in an all-lights fight...at night, of course.... |
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------->And now, we reach THE END
